The Demon baseball team went on the road to face IMS last night and held IMS to one run to win 7-1. On a game heard on KCII, the Demons took the early lead with a solo home run from Josh Moore. They would add two more in the second one in the fourth and three in the last two innings. IMS threatened in the bottom of the first with one out and the bases loaded but Washington worked out of the jam. At one point the Demons retired eight straight batters before a Marshall Shrock solo home run to the opposite field got IMS on the board. Collin Steele pitched a complete game for the Demons and gave up four hits struck out seven and walked two. Anthony Ossman went 3-5 and scored four runs. Jake Redlinger had an rbi sacrifice fly to right. Jordan Gier had two hits and an rbi. Cameron Gingerich got the loss. Demons are now 5-2 IMS falls to 4-3.
