The Washington Demon softball team heads to Muscatine today and tomorrow for a tournament. The Demons will see Louisa-Muscatine and Davenport Central today and then face Davenport West and Durant-Bennett. The Demons have been off since Monday when they swept Fairfield. Today will begin a very busy part of the Demons schedule as they will have games all next week.
The Fairfield Trojans swept the Mount Pleasant Panthers in softball last night. They took the first game 5-4 and the second game 14-2. The wins end up helping the Demons in the standings, because Washington swept Fairfield in their two doubleheaders and split with Mount Pleasant.
