The Demon baseball team was at 2A 10th ranked Regina and split with a late home run. In game one it was Regina winning 8-2 but Demon Head Coach Nathan Miller felt his team hit well enough to win out hitting Regina 9-6 and the Demons left twelve runners on base. Washington would rebound in game two with the game tied 3-3 in the top of the seventh Jake Redlinger had a clutch home run. The Demons won 4-3. Austin Knupp also had a home run on the night. One tough thing for the Demons, Miller says T. J. Rausch injured his knee on a double play ball and may be out for the season. Miller says while the loss is tough they have several kids who can step in and play well The Demons are 4-2 on the season and head to Centerville tomorrow.
