The Demon softball team got a doubleheader sweep in Oskaloosa last night. Washington took the first game 15-2 in seven innings and won the second 4-2. Demon Head Coach Angie Shrader says they had some strong run generation and really found the gaps. The Demons had played Keokuk the night before and suffered two losses. Against Oskie last night, Maddie Bohr and Sammy Ellingson had two singles, Lauren Vittetoe had a single and a double, Kaitlin Buchholz had two doubles and a single, Joni Erwin, Kathleen Kennedy, and Grace Redlinger each had a double and a single, and Stephanie Fishback had a double. With the two wins the Demons improve to 4-2 on the season and host Mount Pleasant tomorrow night.
