With the temperatures being warm the last two days, there are steps you can take to keep yourself safe in the heat.  Washington County Public Health Program Director Chrystal Woller says the most important step you can take to stay cool is to remain indoors with air conditioning.  She adds that if you do not have air conditioning to go to a place that has air conditioning.

Alcoholic and caffeinated drinks should be avoided and beverages containing electrolytes should be consumed instead.  Woller says to also wear sunscreen to prevent future health problems.  She says sunscreens containing SPF 30 and higher is recommended.
