One Henry County man is sitting in jail after allegedly driving through multiple people’s yards. At approximately 2 a.m. Sunday morning, the Henry County’s Sheriff’s Office received a report of a dark colored pickup driving through residential yards and striking a road sign in Salem. A sheriff’s deputy responding to the accident found the vehicle had then returned to the road, only to strike a mail box and drive through another yard.
The front license plate was found at the scene in Salem. The police found Tracy Dean Terry of Stockport in his pickup in the ditch at the intersection of U.S. Highways 34 & 218.
He was cited and arrested for failure to maintain control, leaving the scene of an accident, and driving under suspension.
