The Highland Huskies were on the road facing Columbus last night. The Huskies got down 1-0 early but brought across four runs in the fourth to win 4-2. Pitcher Katie Springer only gave up two hits and struck out six and walked one. Paige Wieland, Mariah Freel, and Morgan Fisher each had a hit and scored a run. Kassie Vasquez also had a hit. Highland Head Coach Carrie Wieland praised the job of Morgan Craig who was filling in for Hali Hunter at catcher. Wieland says they struck out fourteen times which is way too many.
