A sequel to a gospel production is coming to the Iowa Mennonite School. Director of Development Larry Swartzendruber says the performance of “Jubiliation Morning” is a sequel to the show the cast performed there two years ago. IMS alumni and a few current students make up the cast of the production, which is a sequel to the first show “Sing Hallelujah,” which entertained audiences in 2009. Swartzendruber says that show sold out both nights, and he hopes this year’s is just as successful.
Performances are next Friday and Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. Swartzendruber says a silent auction will take place before the Friday night show at 5:30 and during the intermission. He says proceeds from the weekend’s events benefit the IMS Annual Fund.
