The IMS softball team came from behind to beat Winfield-Mount Union last night. IMS got out to an early 3-0 lead and retired 12 of the first 13 batters they faced. But Winfield-Mount Union had a big fifth inning scoring five runs and added another in the sixth. In the bottom of the sixth IMS rallied and with two outs, Keilah Brokaw hit in the go ahead run and put IMS up 7-6. In the bottom of the seventh with two outs, Outfielder Mo Brenneman made a shoe string catch to end it and give IMS the 7-6 win. For IMS:

IMS is now 3-3 and will play at Danville tonight in a varsity doubleheader.
