The second June meeting of the Kalona City Council will bring a few new items of business. The council is scheduled to discuss designating some parts of streets in the town as no parking areas. The proposed no parking areas include a stretch of 4th Street near its intersection with B Avenue South, as well as A Place near its intersection with 5th Street West.
The council will also talk about plans for repairs on C Avenue. A few items of old business, such as a finances report on the Downtown Revitalization Project, are also on the agenda.
The meeting takes place at the Kalona Community Center tonight at 7:30 p.m.
