Officials will now be able to keep a closer eye on Keota City Hall. The Keota City Council approved the use of grant money from the Keokuk County Community Endowment Foundation to install security cameras. Councilman Andy Conrad submitted an estimate for four day-night res box cameras to be placed on the city hall building. City Clerk Niki Osweiler says the council has also received the Keota signs they had approved in a May meeting. The signs will replace the old ones at entrances into the town.
The Keota City Council will have their next meeting Tuesday, July 5th, due to Monday being a holiday.
