A Louisa County organization is going to attempt to break a world record this summer.  Dennis Fraise of the Louisa Development Group says commercial bounce houses called “pillows” have been produced by Wapello Fabrications for 30 years, and a group of people led by Freda Sojka will try to set the new world record for longest team duration in a bounce house.  He says young and old alike can participate as the group’s goal is to bring a world record to Louisa County.

The Louisa Development group is holding two meetings on Tuesday and Thursday to educate residents interested in getting involved in the attempt.  Tuesday’s meeting is at the Columbus Junction City Hall, and Thursday’s meeting is at the Iowa State Extension office in Wapello.
