As summer break for Mid-Prairie students continues, renovations on their high school are moving ahead at full steam. District Superintendent Mark Schneider says the renovation project is ahead of schedule. All scheduled demolition has been completed for about a week, he says, and various contractors are now busy renovating the electrical work in the building. Schneider says the geothermal well field for the heating system is expected to be completed by July 1st. He says he’s pleased with the progress, and hopes the weather continues to cooperate to keep crews ahead of schedule. Schneider adds the $5.5 million renovation is scheduled to be completed by the end of the summer.
