The Washington County Redistricting Commission is holding their first meeting. The Commission was formed based on the 2010 census information and consists of five members that has the task of mapping the Washington County Board of Supervisors districts. During their first meeting, they will be voting on a permanent Chair and a Chair Pro Tem and will make a determination of a permanent Secretary.
An adoption of a procedural agreement will take place and they will receive information on the census changes and requirements for the redistricting. The Washington County Redistricting Commission meeting is Monday morning at 9:00 in the Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting room.
