The City of Riverside will be searching for a new city administrator in the coming weeks.  Current city administrator Tina Thomas announced this week she will be resigning from her position effective at the end of this month.  Thomas joined the city’s staff in 2004, and spent the first four years of her term performing the duties of both the city clerk and city administrator.  Her final three years were spent solely as the city’s administrator.  Thomas says she will miss her time serving the people of Riverside, calling the job interesting and enjoyable.  She says one project she is particularly proud of is the introduction of the Riverside Casino to the area, and Thomas added the project allowed Riverside to grow and achieve goals many small towns are not able to reach.

Thomas will begin a new job with engineering firm Hart-Frederick Consulting in Tiffin next month, but she says she will remain in close touch over the next few months to help with the transition to the next city administrator.
