A former Highland Husky is continuing her college softball career. Lexy Rozmus finished her second year at Iowa Central Community College. She will attend NCAA Division II William Jewell in Liberty, Missouri. It’ll be the first year William Jewell will be a Division II athletic program. Rozmus was a two-time First Team All-Region XI catcher. This past season she batted .381 with 12 doubles, two triples, five home runs and 46 RBI as she was a fixture in the Triton line up. She finished her career with 16 home runs, which is fourth most all time. She was a sophomore on the Highland 2007 state championship team.
