Representatives from Main Street Washington will be breaking out the brooms to recognize changes in the downtown area. Amy Vetter with Main Street Washington says SWEEPs is Supporting Washington’s Economic Enhancement Project. She says this project was started in 2008 to celebrate the changes happening in downtown.
She says this SWEEPs event will be for Just Desserts at the Village, the State Theater and Computers Xtream & Knic Nac Shak. The sweeping of the brooms begin at 9:00 tomorrow morning.
