The city of Wellman has received the final report from state officials concerning its 2010 audit. State Auditor David Vaudt says the city’s receipts totaled $5.4 million for the year ending June 30, 2010. He says the receipts included $1.4 million in charges for service, $2.3 million from capital grants, and $1.7 million in other grants, contributions, and other services. The city disbursed nearly $6 million for capital projects, debt service, and culture and recreation. The city also disbursed about $1.5 million for business activities.
