The Washington Demons got a no-hitter in one of their two wins over Danville last night. Playing on the road the Demons won the first game 12-0. Brian Roder got the win going three innings. In the second game, freshman Elijah Wood threw a no hitter striking out ten. The Demons won the second 16-1 in five innings and put together 14 hits. Head Coach Nathan Miller says Anthony Ossman went 6-6 on the night. Washington improves to 19-5 and have a key match up tonight on the road in Mount Pleasant.

The Demons swept the Panthers in their first meeting and are 8-2 in the conference. Mount Pleasant is 6-2 in conference play. You’ll be able to hear the second game of tonight’s doubleheader on the one to count on KCII. We’ll be on the air at around 7:30.
