The Washington County Board of Supervisors have chosen a location for a relocation of the Washington County Safety Center.  The Supervisors have decided to support a location at the Orchard Hill Complex for a similar amount of money.  This proposal will be presented to the Communications Commission who will take up that issue during their next meeting.

Presented during yesterday’s meeting were reports from the County Auditor and County Sheriff.  County Recorder Jo Greiner says her office has processed over 1400 documents in the last quarter which is down by 300 over the five-year average.

She notes marriage licenses are up by five to six higher per month than average.  The Washington County Board of Supervisors meet every Tuesday morning in the Washington County Courthouse.
