The Washington County Board of Supervisors reviewed relocation options of the Washington County Safety Center as part of their meeting yesterday.  Supervisor Wes Rich says the Communications Commission is recommending a remodel of the old Washington Library, remodel of the old jail or a new or attached building next to the jail at Orchard Hill.

The cost for a remodeling is around two hundred fifty thousand dollars and a new building is over five hundred thousand dollars.  More information will be reviewed and further action will be taken at their July 19th meeting.

The Supervisors also approved Julie Mangold to serve a three-year term to the County Planning and Zoning Commission. This term started last Friday and ends the end of June 2014.
