The Jefferson County Board of Supervisors will take the next steps to getting a sewer project started in northern Jefferson County at their meeting Monday.  Supervisor Dick Reed says a property owner’s signature is needed to move the Rural Utilities Sewer Services project forward, but there has been difficulty being able to contact him.

The board is asking Pleasant Plain Mayor Brad Lauderman to help sort out the issue so county officials can begin providing new sewer services to the town.

The board is also expected to appoint a new General Assistance Director and a Veterans Affairs Administrator.  The Board of Supervisors meets Monday morning at 9 in their meeting room at the Jefferson County Courthouse.
