The Brinton Film Festival is celebrating its 13th year this weekend by showing some of the oldest movies still in existence.  Mike Zahs from the Ainsworth Opera House says the films date back as far as 1894.  Some of the films being shown were shown as part of the State Theater’s Grand Reopening earlier this year.

Historical information about the films and magic lantern slides will also be presented.  The film festival is 7:30 tonight and tomorrow night at the Ainsworth Opera House.

An ice cream social will also take place before the films each night at 7:00.
