The Washington Y is offering a place for those to go who do not have air conditioning.  Chris Gaughan with the Y says their Senior Dining room is being offered as a “Cool Place” for the rest of the week.  She says they have a pool table, card games and a TV to watch. Gaughan says this cool place will be open the same hours as the Y.

Chrystal Woller with Washington County Public Health says those who don’t have air conditioning are welcome to go to any public place to give yourself a break from the heat.  She also recommends avoiding alcoholic and caffeinated drinks and drinking plenty of water instead.
