The Washington Demon baseball team got a road win against Pella last night in a tight game. The Demons scored their first run with a Josh Moore single and after a steal he scored from second off an Anthony Ossman base hit. Ossman would steal second and third and with runners on the corners and a pick off attempt to first that the first baseman had a little trouble with, Ossman was able to come home. In the fifth inning, Austin Knupp got on a dropped third strike, Kyle Roder came on to run for him. Roder advanced on a infield ground ball and he’d score from second on a Josh Moore base hit. Collin Steele pitched the complete game for Washington giving up only three hits. The Demons are now 20-7 while Pella falls to 16-14. Washington will next host Benton Community tonight.
