The Washington Demon baseball team got the season sweep on Fairfield with a ten run game and a come from behind effort. In game one, the Demons lead 7-0 in the fourth and brought across three more runs to end it in the fifth 10-0. Josh Moore got the win pitching all five innings and struck out eight. He went 4-4 at the plate. Brain Roder and Jared Henry also had hits.

Fairfield would take the early lead in the second game getting up 5-0. Washington would narrow it to 5-4 and then later it was 8-6 in the fifth with the Trojans on top. The Demons would come back and take the lead on a Jake Redlinger triple as the Demons got the win 10-8. Washington improves to 10-4 in the conference and will close out conference play with a trip to Fort Madison on Monday. Mount Pleasant is sitting at the top of the conference with only two conference losses and they will be playing Fairfield on Monday.
