Demons Win Two At Fort Madison

The Demon baseball team wrapped up conference play with a sweep in Fort Madison. Fort Madison swept the Demons in Washington earlier this season. Last night in game one it was Washington winning 5-4. Collin Steele pitched 6-innings and gave up 3 earned runs. Weatherman pitched the seventh inning, he also had a homer in the first game. Washington had eight hits in the game.

In game two Washington won 8-5. Austin Knupp homered in that game. Jared Henry pitched five and two thirds giving up four hits. Josh Moore threw one and two thirds. The Demons had 12 hits in the game. The Demons end the conference season 12-4. They go to Solon tonight to face number one ranked Spartans.
