Governor Terry Branstad has announced a North English recycling company will be recognized through a state award. Cox Sanitation and Recycling is among three Iowa groups given special recognition in waste management.
In addition to waste management, the governor’s awards program recognizes comprehensive environmental programs by organizations and businesses, along with special project awards in water quality, air quality, habitat restoration and development, energy efficiency and renewable energy, and environmental education.
The awards ceremony takes place August 1st in Des Moines.
