An aide to a lawmaker is focusing on southeast Iowa today as a top aide to U.S. Senator Tom Harkin will be visiting Washington. Harkin says this visit is part of a statewide summer tour to hear directly from Iowans on how the economy is impacting families across the state.

This listening tour is to collect ideas for rebuilding the middle class in America across all sectors.  Harkin’s aide will be in Washington beginning at 3:15 at Café Dodici.
