Jackson Brokaw was dealing last night and IMS found enough offense to advance in their second round district contest with a 3-1 win over New London in Kalona last night. In a game heard on KCII, both offenses got off to a slow start but it was IMS who would break through first with one run in the fourth on an RBI ground out by Christopher Perez. IMS would score two in the 5th to pad their lead as Brokaw came up with an RBI hit. The major story was on the mound where Brokaw recorded the complete game victory in dominating fashion, allowing just one run, that coming in the 7th, while surrendering two hits and striking out 15 Tiger batters. With the win IMS stands at 13-10 on the season and will face Danville in the district championship game in Kalona Saturday night at 7PM. The Bears were a 10-6 winner over Holy Trinity Catholic.
