The 123rd edition of the Keokuk County Fair kicks off tonight at the Midway in What Cheer.  Early entry of exhibits begins tonight in Floral Hall at 6:00.  Judging of fair exhibits begins at noon tomorrow, and fairgoers can view the exhibits for most of Friday, from 3:00 to 9:00.  Harness horse races will be at the grandstand at noon each day of the fair with a $5 admission.

The Keokuk County Fair Queen will be crowned at 5:00 Friday night.  Residents can also take in the figure-8 races Saturday night, and a number of free events for kids are on the schedule for most of the weekend.

Fair events begin at 8:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 9:30 Sunday morning.
