The next meeting of the steering committee for the Keota Comprehensive Plan has been pushed back one week.  The meeting was supposed to take place tomorrow night, but has been postponed until next Tuesday.  Committee members will review the comments and community input received at their June public meeting, including suggestions for land use areas.

The group will also discuss recommendations to the Keota City Council for implementing the comprehensive plan.  Committee chairman Scott Flynn says many of the plan’s concrete ideas and examples of how to address future goals will be discussed at this meeting, so Keota residents are encouraged to attend.

Flynn says there will only be one more committee meeting before the Planning and Zoning Commission is set to approve the plan’s final draft to be submitted to the city council.

The rescheduled meeting is July 19th at Keota City Hall.
