Main Street Washington is hosting a workshop next week for volunteers.  Amy Vetter with Main Street Washington says this workshop entitled “Growing and Nurturing Main Street Volunteers” is open to any non-profit organization that relies on volunteers.  The presenting speaker is Stephanie Redman, President of Resurge, Inc. who has more than 20 years of experience in Main Street revitalization.

Vetter says Redman will be talking how to engage volunteers, choosing the best volunteers, and exciting volunteers about the work being done.  The workshop is Tuesday the 19th and lunch is being catered by Café Docici and reservations are due by tomorrow.  To make a reservation, contact Amy Vetter at 319-653-3272.
