After more late-game heroics by the Mid-Prairie softball team, the Golden Hawks will now take on West Burlington in the Class 2A State Tournament semifinal.  Mid-Prairie defeated Nodaway Valley 4-3 Monday night after Rachel Miller doubled home Kaitlin Kaalberg in the bottom of the seventh inning.  The semifinal game is tonight at 5:00 on Diamond #1 at the Rogers Sports Complex in Fort Dodge.

Due to state tournament regulations, KCII isn’t able to stream the game online, however you can tune in to AM 1380 or FM 106.1 for that broadcast.

If the Golden Hawks win tonight, they’ll face the winner of the Iowa City Regina/Bondurant-Farrar game in the state championship.  If they lose, they’ll play the loser of that game in the third-place game.
