On the softball field Washington and Mount Pleasant also played two very close games. The Demons needed to win two to stay in the conference title picture. They split with the Panthers in Washington. The first game went to extra innings with the Panthers bringing in the winning run on an infield ground ball in the ninth to win 8-7.

In the second game Washington led 2-0 early, but the Panthers tied the game at 3-3. Mount Pleasant would win with a run in the seventh to get the win 4-3. The Demons finish the conference season second at 10-6
