In regular season action, Washington was hosting Williamsburg, and the two teams who will open the postseason against each other on Saturday, ended up going to extra frames. Washington led but the Raiders brought in a run in the top of the seventh to tie the game at 3-3. Williamsburg scored four runs in the top of the eighth to win 7-3.
