The state baseball tournament semifinal field for all four classes are set. In Class 1A, Martesndale-St. Mary’s faces Coon Rapids-Bayard. The winner will play the winner of Key, Lansing and Newman Catholic, Mason City. In Class 2A, Kumper Catholic, Carroll plays Gilbert. On the other side of the 2A bracket St. Albert, Council Bluffs faces Davis County. In 3A, Solon will play Marion, and Washington takes on Harlan. You’ll be able to hear that game on the one to count on KCII, we’ll be on the air at around 1:45 with a 2:00 first pitch. In 4A, Dowling Catholic, out of Des Moines will take on Iowa City West, and Mason City plays Fort Dodge. All four championship games will be played on Saturday.
