Governor Terry Branstad has appointed two area residents to state boards and commissions.  Raymond Brownsworth of Sigourney will serve on the Early Access Council for Children and Families, which advises and assists the Department of Education in the planning, coordination, and delivery of services to infants and toddlers with special needs and their families.

Robin Malmberg of Mt. Pleasant is a new member of the Prison Industries Advisory Board, which adopts rules to advise the state director regarding the management of Iowa Prison Industries.  Brownsworth and Malmberg begin their terms this week.
