Authorities have arrested two Kalona residents for their involvement in methamphetamine manufacturing.  According to the Johnson County Sheriff’s office, 48 year-old Kathy Carlson and 47 year-old Scott Carlson of 1431 Angle Road allowed 45 year-old Roger Schropp to manufacture methamphetamine in their shed.

Johnson County deputies arrested Schropp July 3rd after executing a narcotics search warrant and discovering evidence of methamphetamines.  Kathy Carlson is accused of being an accessory to a felony after she allegedly admitted to police she had seen Schropp with a container of methamphetamine.  Scott Carlson is accused of two counts of aiding and abetting, which are class B felonies.

Police say he had helped Schropp with the manufacture of methamphetamines.  Kathy Carlson, Scott Carlson, and Roger Schropp are being held at the Johnson County Jail.  A trial date has yet to be set.
