The Washington City Council is holding two public hearings as part of their meeting this week.  The first hearing is regarding the final reading of amending the city’s water rates, the collection of solid waste fees and water deposits.  The rate increase will cover the cost of the new Wastewater Treatment Project.

A first reading will be held about a Tax Increment Financing project as well.  The Washington City Council meeting begins tonight at 6:00 in the old public library.
