The Washington County Fair continues today with today being Senior Citizen Day. The Pet show starts the activities of the afternoon at 1:30 with the Clover Kids sheep show starting at 2:00.  Bridget Nebel from the 4-H County Council explains that the members of the Clover Kids will show will enter the ring with their lamb and mentor.

The judges will look at each animal, ask each participant a couple of questions, and give each person a purple ribbon for their participation.  Other events happening are the bubble gum contest starting at 4:00 and the frog jumping contest beginning at 4:30.

The highlight event of the day is the rodeo which takes place at the Grandstand at 7:30 tonight.  Fireworks will follow the rodeo.  Join us at the Fair as we will continue to be there with the Big Red Radio from 10:00 to 7:00 all this week.
