Students at both Washington Schools and St. James had a good day for their first day yesterday.  Washington School Superintendent Dr. Mike Jorgensen says there were at least 70 new students that started yesterday.  He says the District is not anticipating a big drop or increase in enrollment and the official enrollment numbers will be sent to the state on the first of October.

At St. James, there were 12 Kindergartners that started and one new student was in the older grades.  Principal Theresa Beenblossom says all of the students had a great day and all of them are excited for the rest of the school year..
