IMS has a returning face to the bench this season to coach volleyball. Last season long time coach Dwight Gingerich served as an interim coach, now one of his assistants for many years is taking on the job. Cindy Miller served as an assistant from 1994-2002, now after a break she has decided to take over the head coaching job. Miller talks about what key trait any good program should have excitement for volleyball and success. She feels their team’s strength will be blocking, with several girls at least 5-8. She also likes their quickness. IMS will open the season Thursday at the Fairfield Quadrangular and then will open conference play on the road at Columbus a week from Thursday.
