As the Highland Huskies head into the football season they will have an older group this year. Head Coach Tony Johnson says the last couple of season they’ve taken their lumps with very young guys but this season they have around fifteen juniors and seven seniors. He says with an older group they hope to eliminate some of their mental mistakes. This will be Highland’s second season playing in Class 1A. The Huskies have a sports drink scrimmage tonight at six, and they will open the season next Friday hosting Lone Tree.
