The city of Kalona’s Downtown Revitalization Project has been officially completed, and the grand opening of the downtown area takes place this Saturday.  City Administrator Ryan Schlabaugh says the event will feature live music, a fun run, food vendors, and more.

He says the grand opening is the city’s way of saying thank you to residents for dealing with construction work, and also to contractors for their hard work in improving the town’s downtown landscape.

The grand opening celebration will be sponsored by the city of Kalona.
