The Kalona Public Library is teaming up with Kirkwood Community College to offer courses in the basics of computer use. Library Director Anne Skaden says the classes will teach participants the fundamentals of using a computer, such as web browsing, word processing, and typing. She says new computer users can take the classes, but she also encourages residents to utilize them as a refresher course.
Skaden says the classes will meet Tuesday and Thursday at the library, and registration costs $45 per person.
To get registered, contact the Kalona Public Library or Kirkwood-Washington Center.
