The city of Keota will be accepting nomination papers for residents hoping to fill several city positions up for election in November.  City Clerk Niki Osweiler says the papers can be picked up at Keota City Hall August 29 and must be returned by September 22.  She says there are two city council openings that need to be filled, and there will be an election for mayor as well.

Elections will be held November 8.
