The ISU Extension is hosting its farm field day next month for those who wish to see research projects in progress.  ISU Field Agronomist Jim Fawcett says this field day will also provide an opportunity for farmers and the public to talk with the researchers about how this year’s weather is affecting the crops, drought-tolerant corn and soil sampling.

The field day will be held next month at the ISU Research Farm in Crawfordsville.  Farmers and the public are invited to the Southeast Research and Demonstration Farm on September 8th starting at 1:00 pm.  For more information, contact the Washington County Extension.
