A Supervisor from Lee County has announced his candidacy for the newly created Senate District 42 in Iowa. Supervisor Larry Kruse is a retired engineer with over 30 years experience in the petrochemical industry. He has worked both in the United States and internationally.
Kruse is married and has three children and seven grandchildren. The new Senate District was created after last year’s census showed a change in the state’s population.
Senate District 42 covers Brighton, Crawford and Marion Townships in Washington County plus all of Lee and Henry Counties as well as four townships in eastern Jefferson County.
