Southeast Iowa 4-H exhibitors are gaining more recognition through their presentations at the Iowa State Fair.  Taylor Roth of Mt. Pleasant showed the champion junior Western Pleasure in the horse category.  Brooke Vanderham of Hillsboro showed a 2 year-old Holstein cow that was named Reserve Grand Champion.

In the poultry category, Jonah Van Roekel of Wellman is the owner of the Reserve Old English Game Hen champion.

Keota 4-Hers also had a good day in the horticulture category, as Sage Becker, Spenser Becker, Lindsey Palmer, and Shelly Palmer were all awarded ribbons for their spice presentations.
